Finals (8s)
Qualifiers 9 - 40 compete in a 8 game seeded group match play round robin.
16 winners of the Quarter Finals join qualifiers 1 - 8 to become the top 24, in a 2nd round of seeded group match play.
8 winners of the Semis get seed into a 8 player single elimination bracket to determine the winner
-
At the conclusion of the qualifying shifts, the 8 bowlers with the highest pinfall will automatically advance to the semi-final round of 24 on Sunday. Bowlers finishing 9th through 40th will advance to the quarter-final round of 32, where they will be split into 4 groups of 8 as follows:
-
Group A: 9, 16, 17, 24, 25, 32, 33, 40
-
Group B: 10, 15, 18, 23, 26, 31, 34, 39
-
Group C: 11, 14, 19, 22, 27, 30, 35, 38
-
Group D: 12, 13, 20, 21, 28, 29, 36, 37
-
-
Each Group will then play a 7-game round robin against the other bowlers in the group, then be ranked by total pinfall plus a 50-point bonus for each win (25-point bonus for each player in case of a tie).
-
The top 3 bowlers in each quarter-final group, plus 4 wild cards (the next 4 highest pinfall scores, including win bonuses), will join the top-8 qualifying bowlers in the semi-final round. The 16 quarter-final qualifiers will be seeded and added to the top-8 to create 3 groups of 8 as follows. Note: when seeding the 16 quarter-final qualifiers, the top-3 in each group will be seeded 1-12 by pinfall and the 4 wildcards will be spots 13-16.
-
Group A: 1, 6, 7, QF4, QF5, QF10, QF11, QF16
-
Group B: 2, 5, 8, QF3, QF6, QF9, QF12, QF15
-
Group C: 3, 4, QF1, QF2, QF7, QF8, QF13, QF14
-
-
As with the first set of groups, each Group will again play a 7-game round robin against the other bowlers in the group, then be ranked by total pinfall plus a 50-point bonus for each win (25-point bonus for each player in case of a tie).
-
The top-2 bowlers in each group, plus 2 wild cards (the next 2 highest pinfall scores, including win bonuses), will advance to the final 8. Note: when seeding the final 8 qualifiers, the top-2 in each group will be seeded 1-6 by pinfall and the 2 wildcards will be spots 7-8.
-
The final 8 will be a seeded, single-sided bracket. Matches in the final 8 will be 3-game total pinfall matches except for the final, which will be 4-game total pinfall.

Ties for the 8th and 40th spots after the qualifying shifts will be broken by a one-game rolloff. Ties for all other positions which are strictly for seeding will be broken by whoever had the highest final game.
